Belgrade villas of music legends Šaban Šaulić's widow and Lepa Brena showcase opulent living

Gordana "Goca" Šaulić, the widow of legendary folk singer Šaban Šaulić, resides in a renovated Belgrade villa covering more than 600 square metres. The refurbishment, costing close to one million euros, provides four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two kitchens and a large garden, yet Goca still mourns her husband's death.

Singer Lepa Brena’s estate on Bežanijska kosa is similarly lavish, concealed behind high walls and gates. According to a guest, the property contains a labyrinth of rooms that required a 500‑metre walk through numerous doors, corridors and stairs before reaching the wardrobe, illustrating the scale and privacy of the mansion.

Both properties exemplify the extravagant homes of Serbia’s top music stars and highlight a lifestyle of considerable wealth within the country's entertainment elite.
