Belgrade water supply disruptions planned for New Belgrade and Zemun
The Belgrade Waterworks and Sewerage (Beogradski vodovod i kanalizacija) has announced planned maintenance and infrastructure upgrades that will affect water supply in several Belgrade neighborhoods.
On Monday, October 5, residents in the Belvil area of New Belgrade may experience reduced water pressure between 8:00 and 18:00 due to the commissioning of a new pipeline.
Additionally, scheduled flushing of the water supply network will take place in Zemun throughout the coming week. These works are expected to cause temporary water outages or reduced pressure, primarily during the night between 22:00 and 06:00. The schedule is as follows:
• October 5/6: Areas bounded by Novogradska, Zlatiborska, John Kennedy, and Kej oslobodjenja streets. • October 6/7: Areas bounded by Novogradska, Pregrevica, Cara Dušana, Banatska, Ugrinovačka, Rada Končara, and Prvomajska streets. • October 7/8: Areas bounded by Zelengorska, Zlatiborska, Prvomajska, Rada Končara, Ugrinovačka, Vojni put, Kupreška, and Atanasija Pulje streets. • October 8/9: Nova Galenika and Zemun Polje settlements. • October 9/10: Batajnica and Busije settlements.
Authorities have advised citizens to prepare sufficient water supplies for drinking and basic needs. Temporary water turbidity may also occur during the process.
