Belgrano football club history celebrated in new book and player reflections

Journalist Marcos J. Villalobo has released a book chronicling Belgrano's historic achievement in winning the Argentine Primera División title. The work details the club's journey, culminating in a 3-2 victory against River Plate at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes.

The book covers the roles of key figures including manager Zielinski, president Artime, and players such as ‘Chino’ Zelarayán, ‘Mudo’ Vázquez, and Uvita Fernández. It aims to document the emotional impact of the title on the Córdoba football community and the institutional efforts that led to the championship.

In a separate reflection on the club's history, former player Fabián Bordagaray recalled the team's 2022 Primera Nacional campaign, which secured their promotion to the top flight. Bordagaray described the intense emotional connection between the squad and the supporters during that period.
