Belind Këlliçi accuses Edi Rama of avoiding accountability

Belind Këlliçi has accused Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama of avoiding public accountability regarding major government scandals. Këlliçi specifically cited cases involving Ron Yeffet and Vlora Hysen as examples of a lack of transparency.

Këlliçi challenged Rama’s characterization of ongoing opposition protests as an ‘ideological movement,’ arguing instead that the demonstrations are driven by concerns over corruption, crime, and the alleged misuse of public assets, including land and protected areas. The opposition figure further alleged that the government is operating like a ‘criminal organization’ and claimed that close associates of the Prime Minister have been linked to serious investigations, including international arms trafficking.
