Belize expands international air connectivity with new routes

Belize is set to expand its international air access through several new seasonal routes from North America and Europe.

Discover Airlines, a leisure carrier within the Lufthansa Group, will launch the first European service to Belize City from Frankfurt, Germany, starting December 16, 2027. These flights will operate twice weekly through mid-April 2028, with southbound flights including a stop in San José, Costa Rica.

In North America, BermudAir is introducing nonstop service from five U.S. cities: Boston, Raleigh Durham, Tampa Bay, Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando Sanford. Service from Fort Lauderdale commenced in late October 2026, with other routes scheduled to launch between December 18 and 21, 2026.

Additionally, WestJet will launch weekly nonstop service from Winnipeg on December 14, 2026, joining existing routes from Toronto and Calgary. Air Canada is also scheduled to resume weekly seasonal service from Montreal on December 6, 2026.
