Belkin unveils semi-solid-state power banks at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026, Belkin announced a new generation of mobile accessories, headlined by a series of power banks utilizing semi-solid-state technology. This new architecture, branded as ‘BoostSolid’, incorporates a gel-like layer into the liquid electrolyte to enhance safety by reducing the risks of swelling, overheating, and fire.

The new lineup includes the UltraCharge Pro Slim Magnetic Power Bank, a 5,000 mAh device featuring Qi2 wireless charging and a slim profile similar to a credit card. The UltraCharge Pro Power Bank 10K offers 10,000 mAh capacity with up to 60W output and a digital display for real-time monitoring of thermal and power status. Belkin claims these semi-solid cells can potentially last up to three times longer than standard power banks and comply with UL2056-2025 and TSA standards.

Additionally, Belkin introduced high-capacity models for larger devices, such as the UltraCharge 22K, which provides 65W charging via an integrated retractable cable, and the UltraCharge 11K for smartphone use. The company also expanded its SureFind tracking range with four new targeted trackers for items like keys, wallets, and luggage.
