Belkin launches 14‑in‑1 Thunderbolt 5 docking station in Japan
On July 27, Belkin announced and began online pre‑order of the Belkin Connect 14‑in‑1 Thunderbolt 5 Docking Station, a single‑cable hub that aggregates fourteen ports for notebook PCs.
The dock supports dual DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 video outputs, allowing up to three 4K / 144 Hz displays (or 8K / 60 Hz in Windows). Data transfer reaches 80 Gbps bidirectional and up to 120 Gbps in Bandwidth‑Boost mode. It provides up to 140 W power delivery to the host, includes a 180 W power adapter, and carries a three‑year warranty. Ports comprise two Thunderbolt 5, USB‑A 3.2 × 2, USB‑C 3.2 × 2, 2.5 Gb Ethernet, SD 4.0/microSD 4.0 card readers, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a Kensington security slot. The retail price is ¥58,670.
