Bella Gonçalves visits Governador Valadares to discuss Thainara case

Bella Gonçalves, a state deputy and candidate for the Chamber of Deputies, conducted a campaign visit to Governador Valadares. During her visit, she addressed the case of Thainara Vitória Francisco Santos, a pregnant woman who died in November 2024 following her detention by military police in the Vila dos Montes neighborhood.

Gonçalves, who serves as the President of the Human Rights Commission of the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais, has been monitoring the developments of the case since its inception. Her campaign activities in the region included meetings with supporters and community engagement in the central area of the city.
