Bella Vista launches initiative to recognize local educators

The Municipality of Bella Vista has launched the “Docentes que dejan huellas” (Teachers who leave footprints) initiative to recognize educators across the department. The program aims to highlight the work of teachers in initial, primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions, including those in rural areas.

So far, 31 teachers have been selected by their respective institutions based on criteria such as career trajectory and community commitment. Additionally, the municipality has invited citizens to nominate educators, including retired teachers, who have made a significant impact on their lives. An awards ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Casa de la Cultura.
