Bellambi jetty to undergo major repairs in Wollongong

Repair work is set to begin on the Bellambi jetty in Wollongong to extend the facility’s working life by approximately 10 years. The project, supported by the NSW Government’s Boating Infrastructure Maintenance program, will involve replacing the decking, fenders, walers, guardrails, and the concrete access ramp.

Wollongong City Council has stated that the work is expected to take about two months. While a section of the ramp near the jetty will be fenced off and part of the carpark will be used for construction equipment, fishers and boaters will maintain access to the boat ramp throughout the process.
