Bellano promotes local heritage through September cultural program

The seventh edition of “I Custodi del Patrimonio” continues in Bellano throughout September. This project, supported by the Fondo Ambiente e Cultura, aims to promote the historical, artistic, and religious heritage of Bellano and the Muggiasca region.

Key religious sites, including the Church of Santi Nazaro e Celso, the Church of Santa Marta, and the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Lacrime, will be open daily from 10:00 to 18:00. Special openings are also scheduled for the Church of San Rocco and the Church of Sant’Andrea in Bonzeno on September 12 and 26.

Additionally, the MUU – Museo del Latte e della Storia della Muggiasca in Vendrogno will host various openings on specific dates throughout the month. The program also includes guided tours of the “DEVOTA” exhibition, which explores the relationship between contemporary art and sacred traditions.
