Belleville and Vernon release fall recreation guides

Municipalities in Canada have released their fall recreation guides, offering various community programs for residents.

In Belleville, the 2026 Fall Recreation Guide includes fitness, sports, arts, aquatic programs, and skating lessons. Registration for land programs begins August 24 for city residents and August 27 for non-residents, while aquatic program registration starts August 31 for residents and September 3 for non-residents. The city also offers a Recreation Fee Assistance Program for qualified individuals.

In Vernon, registration for fall programs opens to the general community on August 21. While Vernon residents have had early access since August 10, non-residents can sign up starting Friday. The guide features hundreds of activities, including yoga, martial arts, sports leagues, and skill-building courses such as lifeguard training and babysitting. Additionally, the Tiny Tots Licensed Child Care program has available spaces for preschool-aged children.
