The sixth edition of the Bellini International Context is currently underway, featuring a series of musical and cultural events dedicated to composer Vincenzo Bellini.

A central highlight of the festival is the production of the opera 'I Puritani' at the Teatro Massimo Bellini, with performances scheduled from September 3 to October 1. Directed by Renato Bonajuto and conducted by Fabrizio Maria Carminati, the production features a cast including Jessica Pratt, Irina Lungu, Dmitry Korchak, and Valerio Borgioni.

Additionally, the festival brings 19th-century repertoire to the Teatro Vittorio Emanuele in Messina on September 29. The National Youth Orchestra 'Giuseppe Sinopoli', directed by José Jesús Olivetti, will perform works by Bellini, Rossini, Verdi, and Mendelssohn. The program includes solo performances by soprano Giuliana Di Stefano and violinist Vikram Francesco Sedona.
