Bello to participate in 2026 National Emergency Response Drill

The municipality of Bello will participate in the 2026 National Emergency Response Drill on October 21, organized by the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD). The initiative aims to strengthen local preparedness and response capabilities for various emergency scenarios.

Mayor Lorena González Ospina has called for active participation from various sectors, including educational institutions, residential units, and the commercial, industrial, and health sectors. To support this, the local Secretariat of Risk Management and Disaster Care is providing guidance and inspections to interested parties through September 20 to ensure participants are ready for the national coordinated exercise.
