Bellos Theater marks 5th anniversary with 2026‑27 program launch

The Bellos Theater in Greece celebrates its fifth year of operation by unveiling the programme for the 2026‑2027 theatrical season. The season continues the venue’s focus on works that engage with contemporary social issues and includes a mix of new productions and ongoing shows.

Key productions highlighted are the The Young Quill’s acclaimed play “From Tonight No One Dies”, directed by Aikaterini Papageorgiou, and the new work “The Prayer of the Sea”, which addresses the enduring trauma of refugee experiences. The season also features Brian Fryell’s “The Wonder‑maker” under the direction of Thanasis Dovri, as well as returns by the collective 4Frontal and artist Thanasis Zerit. Several shows will run for a limited number of performances.

Beyond the stage, Bellos Theater maintains its social initiatives, including a theatrical workshop for young refugees and children in the Koridallos male prison, and the “Voices in Motion” program in partnership with Defence for Children Greece. Open discussions with creators, scientists and activists are planned around the refugee‑themed productions to broaden public dialogue.
