Spain hosts diverse regional cultural and traditional festivals
Various regions across Spain are hosting significant cultural and traditional festivals. In Alcoi, the IX Fira Modernista has commenced with historical parades and period costumes recreating early 20th-century society. In Cocentaina, the 680th edition of the Fira de Tots Sants has been announced, featuring a poster by the late canon José Soler Cardona to mark his centenary.
Tarragona has concluded its Santa Tecla festivities, which included over 500 events and a massive Correfoc. Similarly, Lorca has been named the host for the XXXVIII National Meeting of Brotherhoods in 2026. Other local celebrations include the Vinyala Fair in Òdena, the Hogueras de Alicante, and various traditional dances and gatherings in towns like Marchena, Sitges, and Molins de Rei.
These events highlight a broad spectrum of Spanish heritage, ranging from religious brotherhoods and historical reenactments to gastronomic fairs and folk music festivals like Al Dani.
