Belém celebrates 69 years of political emancipation
The municipality of Belém, located in the Paraíba Agreste region, is celebrating its 69th anniversary of political emancipation with a series of official ceremonies, infrastructure improvements, and community events.
Scheduled activities include a flag-raising ceremony and a Thanksgiving Mass. The municipal government will also inaugurate the renovated and revitalized Public Municipal Slaughterhouse, an investment intended to improve sanitary quality and working conditions.
Civic celebrations will feature a parade with students, educators, and marching bands. The festivities continue with a men's futsal tournament and a festive dawn procession (Alvorada Festiva) to conclude the anniversary celebrations.
