Belém expects high passenger volume and diverse events during holiday period

Belém is preparing for a significant influx of travelers and a variety of cultural activities during the upcoming holiday period from October 30 to November 2. The Companhia de Portos e Hidrovias do Estado do Pará (CPH) estimates that approximately 25,200 passengers will use the state's three managed river terminals. The Icoaraci River Terminal is expected to see the highest volume with 12,000 passengers, followed by the Tamandaré Terminal with 7,000, and the Belém Terminal with 6,200.

To accommodate the demand, CPH confirmed that all three terminals will operate normally from 5:00 to 18:00. Authorities advise passengers to arrive one hour before boarding, carry official photo identification, and ensure they purchase tickets from companies regulated by Artran.

In addition to increased river traffic, the city's cultural agenda includes various events such as Halloween parties, music performances at the Hangar, theater productions at the Theatro da Paz, and street races. The holiday period coincides with the All Souls' Day (Finados) observance on November 2.
