Belém police investigate death of woman in Tapanã neighborhood

A woman identified as Renata, described by acquaintances as a former evangelical pastor, was found dead in the Tapanã neighborhood of Belém on Sunday morning. The victim suffered injuries consistent with a white weapon attack.

Investigators noted blood trails spanning approximately 100 meters, suggesting the victim may have been attacked elsewhere or moved to the location where her body was discovered. The area was secured by the Military Police for forensic analysis by the Scientific Police of Pará, and the Homicide Division of the Civil Police has launched an investigation into the circumstances of the death.
