Belém street vendors injured in vehicle accident
A vehicle accident in the Canudos neighborhood of Belém left several street vendors injured on Monday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of Teófilo Condurú Street and Conselheiro Furtado Avenue while workers were setting up stalls for a vegetable and fruit market.
According to witness reports and security footage, the accident began when a collision occurred between two vehicles. It is alleged that a woman driving one of the cars ran a red light. Following the initial impact, a black car lost control and crashed into the market stalls.
The collision caused significant damage to the structures and struck workers who had just arrived to begin their daily activities. Emergency teams provided assistance at the scene, and the injured individuals were transported to medical facilities.
