Belén de Escobar National Flower Festival announces winners

The 63rd National Flower Festival (Fiesta Nacional de la Flor) in Belén de Escobar has announced its winners and new ambassadors. The Japanese Association of Escobar won first prize for its floral float, which featured a large-scale traditional oriental doll.

In the ambassador selection, Valeria Salgado and Matías Gómez were named first ambassadors. Anahí Graniera and Federico Tesuri were selected as second ambassadors. The festival included a parade of 16 floral floats through the center of the district, representing various local towns and institutions.

The event is scheduled to conclude on Monday, October 12, with a closing presentation titled ‘Historias Argentinas – Parte 2’ by historian Felipe Pigna and humorist Pedro Saborido.
