Belén Esteban addresses family disputes with Jesulín de Ubrique

Belén Esteban has addressed ongoing family tensions involving Jesulín de Ubrique and their daughter, Andrea Janeiro, during a high-rated television interview. A central point of contention involves a burofax sent by Jesulín on March 19, in which he stated he would cease paying child support, arguing that the 27-year-old Andrea is now capable of supporting herself.

Esteban clarified that she has not filed a lawsuit regarding the cessation of payments, noting that both she and Andrea decided against a legal battle over the money. The dispute reportedly intensified when Andrea chose to pursue studies outside of Spain.

Furthermore, Esteban addressed personal conflicts with the Janeiro family, specifically responding to insults from Julia Janeiro and discussing the strained relationship between Andrea and her father. Esteban claimed that Andrea has currently blocked communication with her father, her sister, and María José. She also criticized Jesulín for his perceived lack of paternal presence, noting he has not congratulated their daughter on her birthday for over two years.
