Spanish media: Belén Esteban legal threats and RTVE documentary news
Spanish media is currently focused on two distinct developments. In the entertainment sector, Belén Esteban has announced intentions to take legal action against the Janeiro family and individuals who publicly discuss her daughter, Andrea. This follows a series of televised exchanges on Telecinco, where Esteban responded to criticisms made by Beatriz Trapote regarding family relationships and privacy.
Simultaneously, RTVE is preparing to launch a new documentary series titled ‘¡Cuánta guerra!’, scheduled to premiere on October 23. Hosted by Conchi Cejudo, the program will feature cultural figures such as Carlos Bardem and Rozalén exploring how the Spanish Civil War impacted their ancestors. The production is being handled by Minoría Absoluta, a company that has received significant contracts from RTVE for historical programming.
Additionally, TVE has introduced a new weekend magazine program, ‘Cosas nuestras’, hosted by Aitor Albizua and Aida Bao, as part of its efforts to compete in the live afternoon programming market.
