Belo Horizonte, Confins, and Lagoa Santa integrate taxi services with Move BRT

Belo Horizonte, Confins, and Lagoa Santa have officially integrated taxi services with the Move BRT system. Following a 20-year demand from the sector, new agreements allow regulated taxis to perform pre-scheduled trips between the three municipalities and utilize the Move corridors and exclusive bus lanes.

The measure is expected to facilitate passenger movement, particularly for those traveling to and from the Confins International Airport. While travel times between central Belo Horizonte and the airport typically range from 40 to 60 minutes depending on traffic, the use of exclusive lanes is intended to reduce transit times during peak hours.
