Belo Horizonte resident wins R$ 50,000 in Nota Fiscal Mineira drawing

The 100th drawing of the Nota Fiscal Mineira program, coordinated by the Minas Gerais State Secretariat of Finance (SEF), took place on Monday, October 19. A resident of Belo Horizonte won R$ 50,000 from a supermarket purchase totaling R$ 252.80.

In addition to the individual prize, three social assistance entities each received R$ 10,000: the Associação Comunitária dos Pequenos Produtores Rurais de Capoeirão, Xafariz e Barrigudas in Varzelândia; the Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais in Sarzedo; and the Associação Minasnovense de Promoção ao Lavrador e à Infância da Área Rural in Minas Novas.

Since September 2024, the program has distributed R$ 16 million in prizes to consumers across 852 municipalities and R$ 6.4 million to social assistance entities. The initiative aims to encourage fiscal responsibility and tax awareness among the nearly 780,000 registered participants.
