Belo Jardim celebrates 98 years of political emancipation

Belo Jardim celebrated its 98th anniversary of political emancipation with a civic parade on Friday. Organized by the Secretariat of Education, Sports, and Technology, the event focused on the theme ‘The Charm of Education in the Construction of Citizenship’.

The festivities included flag raising, the playing of national and local anthems by the São Sebastião Philharmonic and the September 11th Symphonic Band, and a traditional cake-cutting ceremony. The parade featured security forces, military institutions, municipal schools, and various community groups. Mayor Gilvandro Estrela noted the city's growth and expressed his commitment to continued development.
