Belső nyár exhibition held in Balatonkenese

The “Belső nyár” (Inner Summer) exhibition was held in Balatonkenese at the Kultúra Ház between July 29 and August 19, 2026. Organized by the Hungarian Academy of Arts (MMA) Veszprém Regional Working Group within the framework of Kenese ArtFeszt, the exhibition featured works from MMA scholarship recipients living and working in Veszprém, Fejér, and Zala counties.

The exhibition was designed as an associative space, using the scenery of Lake Balaton to transition from external landscapes to personal worlds. Rather than a linear narrative, the collection aimed to create a unified curatorial story through diverse artistic mediums and languages. The event was held in cooperation with the MMA Institute of Art Theory and Methodology.
