Belstaff reports rising turnover and narrowing losses for 2025
Belstaff has reported improved financial results for the 2025 fiscal year, characterized by rising turnover and narrowing pre-tax losses. Revenue increased by 3.8% to £56.7 million, up from £54.6 million the previous year. Gross profit rose to £16.66 million, with gross margins improving to 29.4% from 28.1% in 2024.
Despite the growth in revenue and margins, the company recorded an operating loss of £3.7 million. This follows a previous year that benefited from significant foreign exchange revaluation gains. However, the loss before tax improved to £3.6 million, compared to a £15.9 million loss in 2024, aided by a substantial reduction in finance costs.
The financial period follows the August 2025 acquisition of Belstaff by the sports brand Castore from Ineos. Under new ownership, the heritage brand is implementing a strategy focused on brand image and heritage, which includes a refreshed visual identity, new product categories, and the use of technical fabrics. The company is also refurbishing its store portfolio and reviewing its wholesale network to ensure brand consistency.
