Belt and Road Youth Maker Camp hosts 300 participants in China

The 10th Belt and Road Youth Maker Camp and Teacher Seminar recently concluded in China, bringing together approximately 300 students, teachers, and young scientists from over 30 countries and regions. Held in conjunction with the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo, the event focused on themes of technological innovation and cultural exchange.

Participants engaged in hands-on activities involving artificial intelligence and natural sciences, including projects such as intelligent unmanned boats, AI video agents, and robotic dogs. The program also featured a new module on AI digital innovation and international media communication, allowing youth to use AI tools to create audiovisual works documenting their experiences.

Representatives from Brunei's Chung Hua Middle School participated in the sessions, visiting various universities and research institutions to experience interdisciplinary engineering and scientific education. The camp serves as a platform for fostering friendship and educational cooperation between China, ASEAN nations, and other Belt and Road partner countries.
