Belvedere Marittimo secures €1.5 million for school and sports hall upgrades

The municipality of Belvedere Marittimo obtained public funding to transform two public buildings into Nearly Zero Energy Buildings. A Conto Termico incentive of €1,176,995.70 will cover energy‑renovation works and performance certification for the middle school on Via Vincenzo Nocito.

For the Palazzetto dello Sport on Via degli Svevi, an additional €324,534.60 from the GSE’s Conto Termico, together with a previously secured €1.5 million from the Sport and Peripheries programme, fully finances the project without tapping municipal budgets. Mayor Vincenzo Cascini and Vice‑Mayor Francesca Impieri said, “L'ottenimento di questi finanziamenti premia il lavoro di squadra e la capacità progettuale della nostra amministrazione.”
