Bem Moura to debut in film alongside Marieta Severo
Bem Moura, the 20-year-old son of Brazilian actor Wagner Moura and photographer Sandra Delgado, is set to make his acting debut in the film "Elizabeth Costello." Directed by Monique Gardenberg, the production is inspired by the work of South African writer J.M. Coetzee.
Bem Moura, a film student currently studying in Los Angeles, will portray the grandson of the protagonist, a role to be played by veteran actress Marieta Severo. The cast also includes Humberto Carrão. Filming is scheduled to begin in late August, with locations including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Serra da Bocaina.
Separately, Wagner Moura stars in the Netflix sci-fi suspense "The Last House" (A Última Casa) alongside Greta Lee. The film follows a family trapped in their home during a mysterious weather event in Seattle.
