Bemidji State and Minnesota men's hockey report season-opening results
In recent college men's hockey action, Bemidji State University secured a 3-2 overtime victory against St. Cloud State University. Junior defenseman Hudson Thornton scored the decisive power-play goal with 1:46 remaining in the overtime period. The Beavers held an early 2-0 lead through goals by Max Namestnikov and Jake McLean before the Huskies mounted a comeback in the third period.
