Ben Affleck cites Fortnite as inspiration for new Netflix film

Actor Ben Affleck shared details about his passion for video games during an appearance on the New Heights podcast. He revealed that he frequently plays first-person shooters like Fortnite, Madden, and 2K.

Affleck joked about his competitive nature, noting that he often finds himself in verbal arguments with younger players in voice chats after being defeated. He humorously described defending his skill level against 12-year-olds, stating, “F**k you! I don't suck! I'm a grown man!”

The actor also explained that the video game Fortnite served as a creative inspiration for his upcoming Netflix thriller, Animals. Specifically, the unusual and random nature of Fortnite skins influenced the design of certain costumes in the film, such as a character wearing a fuzzy bunny mask.
