Ben Affleck discusses gaming history and favorite titles
Actor Ben Affleck shared details about his passion for video games during an appearance on the video podcast ‘Happy Sad Confused’ with host Josh Horowitz.
Affleck revealed that he spent three years playing the Blizzard Entertainment strategy classic Starcraft during the period he was first becoming famous. He noted that the game likely consumed a significant amount of his time.
In addition to real-time strategy games, Affleck expressed an interest in tactical shooters like Riot Games’ Valorant. However, he noted the difficulty of competing against much younger players, describing the experience as ‘humiliating’ when facing children who have grown up with the game. He also mentioned a continued fondness for older titles, specifically the original Doom.
