Ben Anh Nguyễn to become first Vietnamese driver in FIA F4 World Cup

Ben Anh Nguyễn, a 17-year-old racing driver, has become the first representative from Vietnam to participate in the FIA F4 World Cup 2026. The event is scheduled to take place at the Guia Circuit in Macau from November 19 to 22.

Nguyễn enters the competition following his achievement as the runner-up at the Formula Trophy Malaysia 2026. He will compete against 24 elite young drivers, including champions from F4 Italy, F4 UK, and F4 Spain, as well as talents from programs such as Red Bull, Mercedes-AMG, and McLaren.

A student of racing engineering at Purdue University, Nguyễn has demonstrated a long-standing passion for motorsport. He noted that the Guia Circuit is one of the world’s most demanding street circuits due to its narrow turns and close barriers. His primary goal for the event is to learn the track and complete the race successfully, viewing his participation as a significant milestone for Vietnamese formula racing.
