Ben Brereton Díaz returns to Sheffield United on loan

Chilean striker Ben Brereton Díaz is returning to Sheffield United for a third stint. The 27-year-old forward joins the Championship club on loan from Southampton for the 2026-27 season.

Brereton previously played for the club during the first half of 2024 and the first half of 2025, recording 10 goals and four assists in 34 appearances across English football's top two divisions. He expressed excitement about reuniting with manager Chris Wilder, noting a strong existing relationship with the coach.
