Ben Chilwell joins Crystal Palace on permanent deal

Crystal Palace has completed the permanent signing of left-back Ben Chilwell. The 29-year-old returns to Selhurst Park following a season with the French club RC Strasbourg, where he made 34 appearances.

Chilwell previously spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Crystal Palace, contributing to the club winning its first FA Cup. His career includes stints at Leicester City and Chelsea, where he won the Champions League and UEFA Super Cup. He has also earned 21 caps for the England national team.
