Ben McKenzie expresses interest in ‘The O.C.’ revival

Actor Ben McKenzie expressed openness to a revival of the Fox drama ‘The O.C.’ during a recent appearance on Sydney radio station KIIS 1065. McKenzie, who portrayed Ryan Atwood during the show’s four-season run from 2003 to 2007, stated he would be ‘up for it’ provided the ‘right circumstances’ were met.

During the interview, McKenzie responded to a suggestion that he return to the series in a parental role, similar to Peter Gallagher’s character, Sandy Cohen. While he noted he was unsure if serious discussions regarding a revival had occurred, he encouraged the possibility by saying, ‘Let’s make it happen!’

McKenzie is currently involved in several other projects, including promoting his documentary ‘Everyone Is Lying to You for Money’ and appearing on the police procedural ‘Sheriff Country’ alongside his wife, Morena Baccarin.
