Ben Samek named CEO of Banijay America after All3Media merger

Ben Samek has been named CEO of Banijay America following the merger of Banijay Entertainment and All3Media. The merger created an $8 billion production group responsible for major series such as ‘Big Brother’, ‘The Traitors’, and ‘Peaky Blinders’.

Samek, who has previously led production for various CBS, NBC, Fox, and Bravo titles, will report to Banijay Entertainment Deputy CEO Jane Turton. The newly formed Banijay America will serve as a centralized unit for the Americas, incorporating the production services business Turnkey Studio Services, which will be led by EVP of Production Justin Medeiros and Head of Current Programming Jacob Cohen-Holmes.

In addition to the U.S. expansion, Banijay Entertainment has launched Banijay Latin America, with Laurens Drillich serving as CEO. Jeff Zucker, Chairman of the Board for the combined group, noted that the U.S. market presents significant opportunities for growth in production, live events, experiences, and digital platforms.
