Ben Simmons joins Sacramento Kings for NBA return

Ben Simmons is returning to the NBA with the Sacramento Kings following a year-long absence from professional play. After agreeing to a buyout of the final year of his contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, Simmons has transitioned through the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles before joining Sacramento.

Simmons is expected to take on a significant role with the Kings, potentially starting in the regular season opener against the Clippers. During a preseason appearance against the Warriors, he played nine minutes and recorded seven points and one assist. Simmons has expressed relief at being back on the court, stating that being healthy allows him to be more aggressive and utilize his improved ability to read the game.
