Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro return for new Focker film sequel

Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro are set to reprise their roles as Greg Focker and Jack Byrnes in a new installment of the 'Meet the Parents' franchise, arriving in theaters in late 2026. The film, titled 'Focker-In-Law', marks the first entry in the series in 16 years.

The plot shifts generational perspectives, focusing on Greg Focker's son, Henry (played by Skyler Gisondo), as he brings home his fiancée, Olivia Jones (played by Ariana Grande). Unlike previous films where Greg sought approval from his father-in-law, Greg now finds himself as the skeptical parent reacting to his son's choice. Olivia is described as a former FBI hostage negotiator and a triathlete.

Directed and written by John Hamburg, the film features a returning cast including Owen Wilson, Teri Polo, and Blythe Danner, alongside new additions Beanie Feldstein and Eduardo Franco. The film is scheduled for release in November 2026.
