Ben Stiller's WWII film 'Airman' adds Oscar-winning cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki

The upcoming World War II thriller "Airman"—based on Seth Meyerowitz’s 2016 book "The Lost Airman"—has recruited three‑time Academy Award‑winning cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki. Lubezki, known for his work on Gravity, Birdman and The Revenant, joins director‑actor Ben Stiller and co‑star Jeremy Allen White.

The film follows the story of Arthur Meyerowitz, a U.S. turret gunner whose B‑24 bomber was shot down over Vichy France in 1943, and his subsequent escape aided by French resistance members and a decorated British pilot. Production details such as a release window have not yet been announced.
