Benabarre prepares 21st Coqueta and Tapas festival

Benabarre is preparing for the XXI Festa de la Coqueta y Tapas Benabarre Sabor, scheduled for Friday, August 28. The event will take place at the Obaga parking area near the Castle of the Counts of Ribagorza.

The festival aims to highlight local gastronomy and the agro-food sector. It will feature approximately 3,000 servings of coquetas, prepared by Embutidos y Jamones Ribagorza, alongside 3,000 tapas made with products from the Benabarre Sabor brand, such as chocolate, saffron, and local meats. Participating establishments include Restaurante Can Pere, Restaurante Benabarre, and Chocolates Brescó, among others. Wines from Bodega Sers (DO Somontano) will be served, and attendees can also sample Biziet, a liqueur made from coqueta.
