Benalmádena opens new Tourism Office at Castillo El Bil-Bil

The Benalmádena City Council has officially opened the new Tourism Office located in the Castillo El Bil-Bil. Following a comprehensive renovation of the castle, the facility is now operational to serve both residents and visitors.

The office features modern technology, including digital screens for interactive content and virtual reality experiences designed to showcase the municipality's cultural, gastronomic, and leisure offerings. During the summer season, the office operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 20:00, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 to 15:00.

While the facility was inaugurated on July 20 in a ceremony attended by regional and local authorities, reports indicate a delay of approximately 35 days before the office actually began serving the public. The opening follows a period where the building remained closed despite the official completion of the renovation project.
