Eurocaja Rural expands operations and social programs in Spain

Eurocaja Rural is expanding its operations and social initiatives across Spain. The entity has signed a strategic agreement with the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha to facilitate specialized credit for the agri-food sector, supporting farmers and ranchers in modernizing their operations.

In terms of regional expansion, Eurocaja Rural has opened its third office in Andalusia, located in Almería, following previous openings in Seville and Córdoba. This move is part of a long-term expansion plan to maintain physical banking presence in rural areas.

On the social front, Fundación Eurocaja Rural, in collaboration with the Castilla-La Mancha government and Fundación CIEES, has concluded a training program focused on digital skills to promote the professional inclusion of young people with intellectual disabilities. Additionally, Caja Rural de Extremadura has entered a collaboration agreement with the Federación Extremeña de Folklore to support the preservation and promotion of regional cultural traditions through 2026.
