Benavente and Moraleja host bullfighting festivals in Spain

The first semifinal of the Castilla y León novillada circuit took place at the Plaza de Toros de Benavente, where local bullfighter Salvador Herrero cut an ear from a novice bull after a strong performance, drawing applause from the audience.

In the nearby town of Moraleja, the San Buenaventura celebrations featured a traditional bull release donated by a local business collective. The bull, supplied by the José Luis Bertol herd, completed several circuits through the town’s streets before being confined to a portable plaza, ending the event without incident and attracting thousands of residents and visitors.
