Bence Batik receives three-match suspension from MLSZ

Bence Batik, a player for Debreceni VSC, has received a three-match suspension following a decision by the Hungarian Football Federation (MLSZ) Disciplinary Committee. The sanction stems from unsportsmanlike conduct during a match against Nyíregyháza.

During the second half of the game, an incident occurred involving Batik and Nyíregyháza's Attila Temesvári. While the referee initially only issued a yellow card to Temesvári, the disciplinary committee reviewed the incident, which involved Batik striking Temesvári in the face with his elbow during a physical confrontation.

In addition to the player's suspension, the MLSZ has issued various penalties to other parties. Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC received a fine due to unsportsmanlike behavior by its supporters during the match against DVSC. Separately, ZTE FC was sanctioned with a fine and a six-month suspended sector closure following racist chants from its fans during a match against Vasas FC.
