Benício Soares Moura: Young drumming prodigy in Itapetininga

Benício Soares Moura, a 7-year-old boy from Itapetininga, Brazil, has gained attention for his early musical talent on the drums. His parents noted his affinity for rhythm as early as 12 months old, often using everyday objects as improvised instruments.

He began formal drum lessons at age 5 with instructor Esdras Machado. Machado describes the boy as possessing an intuitive musical ability comparable to an adult, noting his capacity to reproduce songs he has never heard before and his rapid development compared to other students.
