Bend parks offer diverse autumn foliage displays

Bend, Oregon, offers various locations for viewing autumn foliage through its park systems. Shevlin Park features aspen trees with bright green and yellow colors alongside western conifers and western larches, which turn yellow before shedding their needles. The Tumalo Creek Trail provides a level walking path through these forested areas.

Other notable sites include the Riley Ranch Nature Reserve, where visitors can find colorful aspens, willows, and dogwoods in the Deschutes River canyon, as well as golden native grasses in the upper meadows. Pioneer Park contains a grove of red maples, while Drake Park features yellow willow branches over Mirror Pond and various changing deciduous trees.
