Bend Studio reportedly developing new PS5 title for 2027–2028

Bend Studio, the Oregon-based developer behind the open-world title ‘Days Gone’, is reportedly working on a new project for the PlayStation 5. While no official announcement has been made by Sony, industry reports suggest the studio is moving forward with a new intellectual property rather than a sequel to its 2019 hit.

Following the cancellation of a proposed ‘Days Gone 2’ and a live-service project, the studio has faced a period of transition. However, journalist Jason Schreier indicates that the studio is making progress on its next title. Current estimates suggest the new game could arrive in the market between 2027 and 2028, potentially appearing toward the end of the current console generation.
